Mark
Mark was born and raised on the East Coast, before moving to Encinitas just in time to attend San Dieguito high school. He has always been interested in art, cartooning, and drawing, showing an aptitude for illustration since he was a small boy. Mark started working at the Corner Frame Shop in the ancient year of 1988, and eventually became Morgan’s right hand man. He has dedicated himself totally to the business and takes great pride in his work.
He is a true craftsman, honing his trade over the years, specializing in intricate repairs and creative solutions for design challenges. He is an accomplished artist, selling many paintings and drawings in the Leucadia Art Gallery. He prefers to stay in the workshop making cool stuff, but always pops his head out to say hi to the clients. We can’t live without him, even when we want to kill him. Mark loves anything with a motor: cars, planes, boats, especially vintage mini bikes. He likes to see how machines work and enjoys taking them apart and rebuilding them. He loves working with his hands, and any excuse to be creative.
Kelli
Kelli, a fourth generation Leucadia native, grew up climbing her great grandpa’s avocado trees, eating Karina’s burritos, and swimming in the ocean. Today she has the privilege of owning the frame shop and gallery, a staple of her hometown. Kelli has been a picture framer for twenty years, spending the last eleven here at the Corner Frame Shop. She loves the entire framing process, from the design consultation to the craft of framing to the unveiling of the finished product. She is dedicated to continuing the legacy of her late mentor and founder of the business, Morgan.
Kelli lives with her husband Matt and their three little boys, two giant cats, and one tiny dog. She loves to spend her time veggie gardening, camping, swimming, cooking and cake decorating, crafting, and cleaning constantly in the wake of her gang of stinky boys. She does NOT enjoy helping with 6th grade math homework.

Daniel
Daniel is one of our designer-framers. He has been an Encinitas resident for 31 years, after moving here with his family from Northern California in 1991.
Passionate about art, Daniel loves working with pieces from all over the world. He’s also a fan of anime, comics, graffiti, and chess. With a strong affinity for pen and ink sketching, as well as a fascination with steampunk, industrial design, and tech, his interests are as diverse as his talents.
With an exceptional eye for color, Daniel excels at crafting unique designs that perfectly complement your artwork, family photos, or anything else you’re looking to frame.
Matt
Matt, a native of coastal California, has spent the last 20+ years in beautiful San Diego County.
He began working in frame shops before switching gears to pursue a career in woodworking and cabinetry for the next 15 years, specializing in crafting fine furniture and luxury home finish carpentry. His love of mathematics and passion for art merged into a career in the residential and commercial construction business. His triumphant return to the picture framing industry was a few years ago, when he started helping Morgan out occasionally, which eventually evolved into a full time position. Matt enjoys the craftsmanship and precision of picture framing and loves marrying form and function in design.
Matt lives a quiet life with his wife and their three boys in Vista. When Matt isn’t working, you can find him adventuring outdoors with his family. They are currently on a quest to visit every National Park in the U.S., putting their trusted minivan to the test!

Meghan
Meghan, originally form Missouri, ventured across the country to San Diego just three years ago. Initially motivated by pursuing her art career, she stumbled into picture framing and fell in love. Before finding her way to us, she was introduced to picture framing through Michaels craft store, where she managed the frame shop.
With a diverse skill set including painting, sewing, commercial embroidery and screen-printing, floral design and fabric design, she is versatile and loves to learn new things. Meghan finds inspiration in being surrounded by artwork everyday and loves transforming visions into reality.
When she’s not creating or exploring a new skill, she loves traveling, going to reggae shows, swimming in the ocean and spending time with friends and family.
